Cake card square 16x16 cm – White (50 pcs)

This square white cake card, 15.7 x 15.7 cm, is made for bento cakes and small cakes. The card is 1.5 mm thick and sturdy, with a glossy polypropylene laminate, so cream and buttercream do not soak into the board. You order in packs of 50.

Why does this cake card suit the bento box so well?

The card is just slightly smaller than the base of the bento box of 16 x 16 x 10 cm, so your bento cake stays firmly in place during transport. Through the front flap of the box you slide cake and card in together. Order the cake card with the bento box and you get an extra discount with a bundle deal.

Why a laminated cake card?

Thanks to the polypropylene laminate the card is smooth, glossy white and easy to wipe clean. According to my supplier's declaration it is suitable for dry, moist and fatty foods, so also for a bento cake with whipped cream. More in the bento boxes and the cake boards and cake cards.

Material, food contact and disposal

The cake card is GC1 board with a glossy polypropylene (PP) laminate on top. According to my supplier's declaration of compliance, it is suitable for direct contact with dry, moist and fatty foods, such as cake with buttercream, cream or ganache, at room temperature or colder. It is not intended for acidic foods, or for the oven or microwave. It is for single use.

Disposal in the Netherlands: because of the plastic layer and the cake residue, a used cake card goes with residual waste. Elsewhere, follow your local rules.

Frequently asked questions

Can a cake with whipped cream go on the cake card?

Yes. The card has a polypropylene laminate and, according to my supplier's declaration, is suitable for moist and fatty foods such as whipped cream and buttercream. Only acidic foods are excluded.

Can the cake card go in the fridge?

Yes, food contact has been assessed at room temperature or colder. Oven and microwave are excluded.
