Shipping & delivery
What is the delivery time?

Orders placed and paid from Monday to Friday before 8pm are usually shipped the same day. The exception are very large orders that sometimes take a little longer to collect.

Your order will be shipped with GLS, they only deliver on working days, not on Saturdays.

What are the shipping costs within The Netherlands?

Within the Netherlands we do not charge shipping costs for every order above €75.00 excl. VAT (this amount only applies to the items ex VAT, so without shipping costs). With an order for a lower amount, you pay a contribution to the shipping costs of €7.50 excl. VAT.

The minimum order amount is €25.00 excl. VAT.

We like to offer transparent pricing, so we have chosen to visibly calculate a contribution for the shipping costs. That way we can keep the prices of the products as low as possible and you don't always pay part of the shipping costs as part of an increased product price. This way you can see the price of just the packaging.

What are the international shipping rates?

Shipping costs Belgium and Germany

For orders to Belgium and Germany, we do not charge shipping costs for every order above €125.00 excl. VAT. With an order for a lower amount, you pay a contribution to the shipping costs of €8.50 excl. VAT.

The minimum order amount is €25.00 excl. VAT.

Can I pick up my order?

Unfortunately it is not possible to pick up orders. We also do not have a shop to receive you. All orders are shipped directly from our warehouse.

Can I have my order delivered at a parcelshop?

Yes, you can! Most orders we ship go with GLS. You will receive an email from them with a track and trace link. You can also choose additional delivery options in their portal:

  • Pick up your parcel from a ParcelShop of your choice
  • Drop off the parcel with permission
  • Have the parcel delivered to your home on the day of your choice
  • Have the parcel delivered to a neighbour

If you were not at home to receive the parcel, you will receive a "not at home" message by e-mail. You can then inform GLS of a new preferred delivery date or location within 5 working days. After these 5 working days, the parcel will be returned to us.

Where is my parcel?

When your order has been shipped, you will receive the package number by e-mail with which you can track the delivery. Is there a problem with the delivery? Please contact GLS by e-mail or telephone:

Can I return my order?

At Cupcakedozen.nl it is of course possible to exchange or return your order (provided your ordered product does not fall under a legal exception). This is possible within 14 days after receipt of your complete order. You can return the item to the address on the form below. You will then be credited for the returned items.

The shipping costs for the return are for your own account.

The initial shipping costs (the costs for shipping when placing your order) will only be credited if the entire order is returned.

For hygiene reasons, we can only credit unopened units.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason. After cancellation you have another 14 days to return your product. You will then be credited the full order amount including any shipping costs. If you make use of your right of withdrawal, the product will be returned to Cupcakedozen.nl with all accessories supplied and – if reasonably possible – in the original condition and packaging. To exercise this right, you can contact us via [email protected]. We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days after registration of your return, provided the product has already been returned in good order. You can use the form above for this.

Placing an order
Can I order single products?

Unfortunately this is not possible. For reasons of hygiene, it is only possible to ship by outer packaging. You can, for example, order ribbons per piece, and we have various packaging that you can order per 10 pieces. You can also filter by the order unit when searching for articles.

Can I change my order?

To enable fast shipping, your order will be processed by the warehouse immediately after payment. It is therefore unfortunately not possible to change or add anything to your order.

Can I pick up my order?

Unfortunately it is not possible to pick up orders. We also do not have a shop to receive you. All orders are shipped directly from our warehouse.

Can I receive a sample?

This is possible in some cases, but only if we have a separate sample to ship. Because the regular stock is at a different location, we cannot send samples from there (or add them to an existing order). A sample costs €7.50 as compensation for administration and shipping costs. If you would like to receive a sample, you can request it by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

Can I place a VAT free order?

If you place an order from an EU country outside of the Netherlands, you can indeed place it with shifted VAT. This is only possible on the condition that your VAT number is suitable for this. You can easily check this on the site of the European Commission: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/#/vat-validation

If your VAT number is not suitable for this, and you still place the order with shifted VAT, we will still have to invoice this later with the associated administrative burden, so please check in advance.

How do you place an order with reverse charged VAT? In the ordering process, choose "Business" under "Customer type" and enter the VAT number in the "TAX/VAT Number" field.

There is insufficient stock, what can I do?

If you want to order a packaging that is currently not in stock, it is best to let us know by email. We usually have an idea when we expect this article again. If the item has the status "Sold Out", you can click on the button "Email me when back in stock" on the product page. Then you will immediately receive an email when it is back.

Questions about our packaging
Will the smart cake dome also come in a larger size?

The smart cake dome is available in Ø21x25 and in Ø23x30 cm. Unfortunately no larger size will be made. The cylinder can then no longer be punched from 1 sheet on the machine. It is possible to fold 2 sheets together, but then the construction is no longer strong enough, especially because larger cakes can be quite heavy. So unfortunately, they will only remain available in these 2 sizes.

How do I fold my packaging?

You will find various folding instructions on our YouTube channel and you will also find an overview on this page.

Can I have boxes bespoke printed?

We do not offer custom printing. Due to the high minimum quantities, the long production times and the small price advantage, it is (with us) cheaper and more flexible to personalize your packaging with a label and/or ribbon.

We have an overview for you of various lines of packaging. In this way you can maintain a corporate identity with the same type of packaging in various sizes. This way you don't have to purchase huge numbers and you can still offer a uniform style of packaging.
